Burger Boat Heads to Palm Beach International Boat Show

Burger’s team will be available at the Palm Beach International Boat Show  March 22-25 to discuss construction, plans for the future and opportunities for new yacht owners to explore a relationship with one of America’s oldest yacht builders. Currently, construction is underway on two Burger 48 Cruisers, the newest yacht in Burger Boat Company’s offering. The first has been sold and will be delivered this summer. The second, featuring an interior design in collaboration with DeBasto Designs, is available for immediate purchase.

Burger Boat Starts Build of Explorer Yacht

Burger Boat Company announced the start of construction on Hull 510, a custom 103'-06" (31.55m) full displacement steel and aluminum Explorer Motor Yacht. Burger Boat Signs on to Build Explorer Yach

Burger Boat Company has signed on to a project to build a custom 31.55-meter full displacement steel and aluminum Explorer Motor Yacht. The vessel's modern exterior design and contemporary interior décor were developed by designer Luiz de Basto of Miami, who worked closely with the owner to create an oceangoing, long-range explorer yacht for cruising and fishing the world's sportfishing hot spots, the shipbuilder said. Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 main engines, the vessel will have a cruising range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 9.5 knots.

Burger Boat Delivers Chicago Passenger Vessel

Burger Boat Company announced the delivery of a 98-foot steel passenger vessel to Chicago's First Lady Cruises in Chicago. The vessel, Chicago’s Classic Lady, was designed by Seacraft Design, LLC of Sturgeon Bay, Wisc. Chicago’s Classic Lady departed the Burger shipyard Saturday afternoon, May 10, 2014, on her delivery voyage to the Chicago waterfront, arriving early the next morning. Built by Burger Boat Company of Manitowoc, Wisc., Chicago’s Classic Lady is powered by two Caterpillar C12 main engines and has two Caterpillar C4.4 generators.

U.S. Superyacht Association Announces 2013-14 Directors

The U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA) announced the 2013-2014 Board of Directors elected in October 2013. John J. Mann, III (Bluewater Books and Charts) will continue his role as Chairman.
