Burger Boat Signs on to Build Explorer Yach

Burger Boat Company has signed on to a project to build a custom 31.55-meter full displacement steel and aluminum Explorer Motor Yacht.
The vessel's modern exterior design and contemporary interior décor were developed by designer Luiz de Basto of Miami, who worked closely with the owner to create an oceangoing, long-range explorer yacht for cruising and fishing the world's sportfishing hot spots, the shipbuilder said.
Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 main engines, the vessel will have a cruising range of approximately 4,000 nautical miles at 9.5 knots.
The yacht will be built to ABS classification and is scheduled for a spring 2017 delivery.
