Burger Boat Company has announced the Christening of its newest project, theBurger 48 Cruiser. The Burger 48 Cruiser is a custom-built 48’ (14.63 m) aluminum cruiser developed in conjunction with her owner, Vripack Naval Architects from the Netherlands and interior designer Celeste Wegman of CWI Design Group.

The Burger 48 Cruiser is a return to Burger’s roots and an expansion of the high-quality offerings for which Burger is known. It has the quality finishes, custom design opportunities and artistically crafted details found on Burger’s custom superyachts, while also exceeding those found on production boats.

The Burger 48 Cruiser reflects Burger’s quality craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout, as well as her owner’s desire for a highly personalized yacht. She is powered by twin 600hp Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 engines and provides her owner with joystick control for enhanced maneuverability. The Burger 48 Cruiser incorporates Vripack’s revolutionary patented Slide Hull Design. This hull design provides acruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of approximately 35 knots in comfort with reduced fuel consumption. Alustar aluminum is used to provide increased strength and corrosion resistance without adding weight. The Burger 48 Cruiser features two ensuite staterooms, unobstructed views in the open salon/galley area and exceptional exterior spaces for entertaining friends and family. The design of theBurger 48 Cruiser has been a collaborative process between her owner, Burger and Vripack Naval Architects, all crafted around meeting the owner’s specific expectations for a powerful, luxurious and sleek new yacht.
