A completely new boat from the hull up, the 2015 Axis Wake Research A22 is a total redesign of the original A22, the very first Axis model to hit the water, apprises the boat builder.

Monster wakes and waves come standard with the all-new A22. With a new wake-and-wave-maximizing hull, this aggressive 22-footer is built to create the perfect playground for wakeboarders and wakesurfers of all skill levels. And with Surf Gate, you can ride a customized wave and easily transfer from side to side.

Axis and Malibu CEO Jack Springer is excited to be debuting the all-new A22 at Orlando's Surf Expo on September 4th. "With the ongoing evolution of Axis, we felt it was time to take the A22 to the next level," says Springer. "We've had so much fun with this boat. The insiders who've gotten to see it and drive it just can't stop talking about it."

The 22-ft long power-boat boasts a striking exterior, with sharp new hull graphics and three new metal-flake gel color options, but it's also plush and roomy on the inside, with a 102-inch beam and comfortable, upgraded vinyl seating for as many as 15 people. For 2015, the A22 features the new AW15 Tower, a new interior, deeper storage, walk-through bow, and Livorsi shifter. Upgrade options include Zero Off GPS Cruise and high-fidelity WetSounds speakers and amps.

Axis is a brand of Malibu Boats, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of watersports towboats, with some 450 employees and three manufacturing facilities, in California, Tennessee, and Australia.
