Mustang Survival debuts the spring 2018 collection of sailing and watersports outerwear and apparel at this week’s United States Sailboat Show.

Following the successful introduction of the award-winning EP 6.5 Ocean Racing Collection, Mustang Survival continues to apply their 50 years of experience designing and manufacturing technical marine solutions with the introduction of the Meris Sailing Collection.

“The goal to continuously improve upon current offerings leads our team to challenge the status quo and be meticulous about every aspect of a product’s design. From initial ideation to the real-world testing of prototypes in our own backyard in the Pacific Northwest, the team at Mustang Survival applies this maniacal attention to detail to every product bearing the brand’s name,” stated Jason Leggatt, Mustang Survival’s general manager.

Meris Sailing Jacket (MSRP $575)
A jacket built to help sailors obtain their optimal performance, Mustang Survival’s Meris Sailing Jacket provides high-level protection with unrestricted movement. Made from Marine-Spec™ waterproof fabric, this jacket is designed to withstand harsh salt-water environments. The fitted hood design allows a full peripheral view for a higher range of visibility in your surroundings. The pocket configuration consists of an AIS/EPIRB easy-access shoulder pocket for emergencies, as well as low-profile fleece-lined hand-warmer pockets. This jacket comes in three color options with high visibility yellow hoods for added safety.

Meris Sailing Spray Top (MSRP $325)
Geared for active racing, the Meris Sailing Spray Top delivers maximum security and protection with a minimalist approach to design. Mustang Survival’s exclusive neoprene neck gaskets combines one-handed venting with a quick seal. The top’s low-profile shape features two zippered hand pockets as well as an AIS/EPRIB shoulder pocket for easy access in emergencies. Made from 3-layer Marine-Spec waterproof fabric, this spray top will hold up to unrelenting salt-water conditions.

Meris Sailing Salopettes (MSRP $475)
Whether it’s impact with the boat or harsh weather elements, the Meris Sailing Salopettes will allow sailors to push harder and stay out longer. Made from exclusive 4-layer Marine-Spec waterproof fabric, the salopettes strike the delicate balance of breathability and durability. The adjustable shoulders allow for a more comfortable and secure fit while streamlined thigh pockets reduce catch points. The added knee pads provide increased comfort for long days and help to reduce injury. Storm flaps are done away with due to the 100% waterproof YKK Aquaguard™ zipper.

Taku Jacket (MSRP $375) and Bib Pants (MSRP $325)
The Taku™ streamlined waterproof jacket is designed to work across a variety of activities and environments. With special attention paid to subtle performance indicators that can make or break a day on the water, this waterproof jacket design leverages Mustang Survival’s decades of experience building dry suits for the military. When coupled with the Taku waterproof bib, it becomes a complete dry solution with seamless integration, designed to endure the wettest days on the water.

Available spring 2018 at select retailers nationwide, the new Mustang Survival sailing collection will be on display throughout the duration of the United States Sailboat Show (October 5-9, 2017) at Tent D15/16.
