American shipyard Hatteras Yachts announced that its flagship Hatteras 100 Raised Pilothouse (100RPH) Motor Yacht will make its European debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in France, September 8-13, 2015. The 31M motor yacht scheduled to be on display in the water in Cannes is a sister ship of the builder’s first 100RPH, the motor yacht introduced to the U.S. market in 2013. Hatteras/CABO Yachts president & CEO John Ward will be in Cannes for the European debut of the 100RPH.

“The Hatteras 100 Raised Pilothouse, which features exterior styling by noted Italian yacht designer Enrico Gobbi of Team 4 Design, is going to take the European yachting market by surprise,” predicted Alex Treleani, Hatteras/CABO Yachts director of international sales. “In Europe, Hatteras has a great reputation for high-quality fiberglass construction and engineering. But the 100RPH has Hatteras quality combined with European styling – It’s the best of both worlds.”

The Hatteras 100RPH on display at the Cannes Yachting Festival accommodates eight guests in four en suite staterooms, as well as a four-person crew. In addition to her sleek, contemporary exterior styling, the new motor yacht features an interior layout customized by her owner that is sure to appeal to the European market. “Instead of the country kitchen, it has a private chef’s galley that is more in keeping with the formal yachting style popular in Europe,” Treleani said. “The owner also selected light, bright, woods and airy contemporary interior decor for this yacht. The furnishings were either hand-crafted by Hatteras artisans or sourced from upscale luxury goods showroom Cassina in Milan, Italy.”

The 100RPH’s engineering, electrical systems and cabinetry, all were designed, manufactured and installed in-house by Hatteras Yachts’ veteran engineers and craftsmen. This yacht is equipped with twin CAT C32A 1,900hp diesel engines, which gives the yacht a projected cruising speed of 21 knots and top speed of 25 knots. “The configuration of the 100RPH is especially appealing to our European clientele,” said Treleani, who expects heavy demand for tours during the show. “In keeping with our reputation for quality, Hatteras Yachts also come standard with an industry-leading 10-year structural warranty.”

Additionally, Hatteras plans to display the sporty and stylish GT63 and GT54 Convertible models at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
