Feadship Looks Back at 2015 Launches
As 2015 draws to a close, Feadship can look back on a year full of launches. No less than six Feadships joined our globetrotting fleet this year, showcasing once again the diversity of the builder's custom creations.
We start with the 57m Halo, outfitted in a record 33 months at the special request of the owner. A striking exterior profile and sensational sun deck made Halo a firm favourite among Feadship fans. The same applies to the 46.40m Kiss, with her exclusive owner’s deck and beautiful black livery, the most complex paint job ever undertaken on a superyacht.
From the unique swimming pool aft to the giant openable bridge deck windows, there were also innovations galore on the 44.20m Moon Sand. The 92.50m Royal Romance has a 12-metre pool connected to a waterfall lit up by LEDs, one of many ways in which she captured the essence of perfect craftsmanship.
Engineering of the highest order was required for Savannah, the world’s first hybrid motoryacht. This phenomenal 83.50m design also included a floating glass superstructure, a dual deck open zone and much more besides. Last but not least is the largest Feadship launched to date, the 101.50m Symphony. She is also the first Feadship to meet the new PYC regulations, an especially impressive feat as the owners required the interior to have over 300 different finishes.
So there you have it – Feadships in all shapes and sizes, with just two things in common: owners looking to push the window of innovation and Feadship designers and craftsmen dedicated to achieving uniquity.
There is much more to come in 2016 but for now all that remains is to wish you Season’s Greetings and our best wishes for a peaceful and happy new year.
