Whitsunday Rent A Yacht (WRAY) will showcase its skipper-yourself holidays, investment opportunities for boat owners and running an online Live Deals auction – where holiday makers can bid for a bargain holiday – at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on the Gold Coast from May 23-26.

WRAY offers more than 20 vessels for charter including elite and standard yachts, catamarans and motor cruisers. The fleet mixes brands such as classic Beneteau Lagoons, Bavarias and Jeanneaus with Australian favourites, Seawinds and Perrys. It also has some brands in motor cruisers such as Highland, Fairway and Venturer.

For groups of eight to 10, WRAY’s 43-foot Beneteaus provide spacious accommodation in private cabins. Catamarans such as a Beneteau Lagoon 380, 400 or 420, or Perry 43 are suited for groups of eight, providing various options including private cabins and separate ensuite facilities. Smaller catamarans such as Jeanneau 35 suit families or couples while easy handling motor cruisers are ideal for those with little or no sailing experience. Charters range from four nights to a fortnight, with longer stays possible. With vessels accommodating from two to 10, accommodation is matched to group sizes and budgets.

WRAY offers live deals on bareboat holidays – an online auction where charterers can bid for a short-notice getaway aboard a WRAY vessel and save up to 60%. Vessel accommodation ranges from the budget to the luxury and offers are updated regularly.

An area and on-board briefing is held prior to departure, scheduled twice-daily calls and radio contact with WRAY’s base ensure charterers are fully equipped to experience an unforgettable holiday. A finalist in two categories in the 2012 Whitsunday Tourism Awards, WRAY was also among those businesses nominated in the inaugural People’s Choice award.
