Polyflake Coatings Protect Against Chemical, Mechanical and Galvanic Corrosion
After several Trinity megayachts experienced degradation of aluminum materials in the sea chest and exhaust piping, Capt. Dirk Sachse looked for a new solution versus cutting out the exhaust and replacing.“There were various theories out there, including galvanic corrosion” said Capt. Gulf Coast Shipyard Delivers MY Imagine
Gulf Coast Shipyard Group (GCSG) has delivered the Motor Yacht Imagine. The M.Y. Imagine, a Trinity built yacht, is a 193’x 32’x 14’6” custom designed semi-displacement aluminum hull and superstructure vessel that was constructed in GCSG’s yard located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The vessel meets the highest quality yacht standards in the world. It was designed by GCSG and is ABS classed for commercial yachting service. M.Y. Imagine is designed to accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 14 including a captain.
New STS900 Chiller Delivered to Trinity Yachts
Dometic Marine, a division of Dometic Group, has signed an agreement with Trinity Yachts, LLC to provide the high-capacity Dometic STS900 chiller for Trinity’s TO62 vessel, a 194-foot superyacht. The new STS900 is a chiller for yachts up to 200 feet, providing 75 tons of cooling capacity and 75 kilowatts of heat. It offers advanced features to adjust to extreme seawater temperatures, regulate water flow through the system, reduce stress on the boat generator, simplify maintenance and ensure optimal operation.
MY Falcon Installs MPM
U.K.-based Marine Software Ltd have recently delivered MPM - Marine Planned Maintenance to the MY Falcon, a 164ft Tri-Deck Motor Yacht currently operating in UAE. Built at Trinity Yachts LLC, USA and delivered in 2011, this ABS classed vessel is GT 491 and has unrestricted service as a pleasure yacht. This contract was organised through Dubai based partners Sicil Marine Ship Management & Operation, as they were commissioned by yacht owner in providing a fully configured Planned Maintenance database specific for vessels equipment, to include local network installation and crew training.

Trinity Yachts Deliver Superyacht 'Finish Line'
Trinity Yachts deliver to its American owner 'Finish Line', a custom designed 120’ (36.7m) raised pilothouse superyacht with aluminum hull and superstructure. With unusual speed for her size, Finish Line’s sleek naval architecture and styling enable her to run in excess of 23 knots with a range over 3,600 nautical miles. With her normal cruising grounds being the East Coast of the United States as well as the Bahamas, the yacht’s draft has been specifically designed to be 5’6” (1.7m) in half-load condition.

International Yacht Connection IYC sells the Trinity yacht to Gilman Yachts but it will remain in IYC's charter fleet. Zoom Zoom Zoom is an MCA compliant aluminum tri-deck motoryacht. At the time she was delivered she was the fastest yacht of her size (she can run effortlessly at 23 knots); she still out performs yachts currently entering the market. Zoom Zoom Zoom has a rich history having been awarded the Best Boat of 2005 by Showboats International and Winner of the Best Semi-Displacement Motoryacht 40m+ Award at the Showboats Awards in 2006.
Trinity Yachts: Hurricane Isaac Update
Both Yards and All Employees Doing Fine. The New Orleans yard was hit by a Category 1 hurricane while the Gulfport yard was hit by a tropical storm with 9’ of storm surge. There was no damage to the Gulfport yard or to any of the yachts and other vessels under construction. The yard will return to work tomorrow, August 31. John Dane III Leaves His Mark
“The 2008 financial crash slowed the luxury business, and the new class warfare coming out of Washington has made owning a large yacht out of favor. In the more than two years since its founding, Mississippi-based TY Offshore, the former Trinity Offshore, has invested in a new yard in Gulfport and repaired its storm-damaged New Orleans holdings. The company has doubled its capacity and racked up new orders, president and CEO John Dane III said. TY Offshore designs and builds offshore barges, tugs, oilfield-support vessels and spill-response and patrol vessels. The company's new name, adopted in late June, should make business simpler.
