AMI Presents Board of Directors at IMBC
The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) elected its 2017 officers and directors at its annual International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) held January 25-27, 2017 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Brad Gross, Certified Marina Manager (CMM) was reappointed Chair; Joe Riley, CMM of Windmill Marina Association, Inc. was reappointed Vice Chair; Chris Petty of Suntex Waterfront Management was reappointed Treasurer; and Chris Dolan of Marina Electrical Equipment, Inc. was appointed Secretary. M2000 Marine Forklift to Debut at Miami Boat Show
Marine Travelift Inc. has announced that it will officially introduce its new M2000 marine forklift featuring hydrostatic drive at the 2016 Miami International Boat Show, scheduled for February 11-15. The forklift will be on display at the show’s new venue on Virginia Key. According to Jason Johnson, Marine Travelift’s North American Director of Sales, the new M2000 will showcase innovative technology that the Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin-based manufacturer is incorporating it into its Marine Travelift forklift product line. “The M2000 featuring hydrostatic drive is unique to Marine Travelift,” Johnson said.
Marine Travelift to Deliver 75-ton Boat Hoist to Jolly Harbour Marina
Marine Travelift Inc. announced today that Jolly Harbour Marina in Antigua has purchased one of its new 75 BFM II mobile boat hoists. This 75-ton machine was most recently on display at the Miami International Boat Show in February. Located on Antigua’s leeward side, the Jolly Harbour full-service marina provides 155 new concrete berths, storage for 200 boats, a dedicated cradle yard, and large work area for engine maintenance and repair, yacht painting, carpentry, and duty-free fueling services.
