VesselVanguard, the web-based subscription service that simplifies boat ownership, has announced  its partnership with award-winning pleasure boats builder, Palm Beach Motor Yachts. The company joins a growing list of twenty manufacturers that now provision all new boats with VesselVanguard, including Beneteau, Grand Banks, Hunt, Hargrave, Maritimo and Prestige, to name a few. Providing the ultimate yacht management platform to add value and simplify the ownership experience, each new Palm Beach yacht will be fully provisioned with a complete VesselVanguard Boat Profile including a digital master equipment list, library of manuals and a customized maintenance calendar for timely upkeep requirements of all onboard systems. New Palm Beach buyers will be equipped with information on their boat’s systems at their fingertips, and will receive personalized communications to help them keep all systems running optimally for a worry-free and easy boat ownership experience.

“Once we learned about the tremendous service VesselVanguard provides, without hesitation we knew it was a fit for our discerning customers,” said Mark Richards, founder and owner, Palm Beach Motor Yachts. “It’s a modern online service that simplifies the ownership experience by organizing our vessel’s system maintenance requirements in a simple, convenient and stress-free manner. It helps us manage and provide industry-leading support to keep our vessels in top working condition. And most important, it will enhance the experience of our valued customers and ensure they can more simply enjoy and take advantage of all their Palm Beach has to offer.”

Dedicated to simplifying the boat ownership experience and providing significant changes in the post sale relationship for dealers and customers alike, VesselVanguard removes the complexity of owning and maintaining a vessel. The system meets the information needs of owners’ busy lifestyles. An innovative cloud based application, VesselVanguard provides Palm Beach buyers with a comprehensive password protected boat profile accessible by browser, iPad or smartphone. The profile contains all manuals in searchable form with current updates, warranty data, registration and insurance documentation, organized to the preferences of the owner.

“Palm Beach Motor Yachts feature an impressive, impeccable style that represents the modern day pleasure boating lifestyle,” said Don Hyde, CEO, VesselVanguard. “The VesselVanguard service will be an ideal advantage for Palm Beach buyers, who already find the enhancement of modern push-communication technology essential in their everyday lives.”

Based on a vessel’s Master Equipment List each VesselVanguard profile is programmed to provide monthly Task Alerts of OEM recommended maintenance and inspections based on hours or days of use between service events. On a monthly basis, Palm Beach yacht owners, dealers and service partners will receive an emailed Task Alert listing upcoming tasks including parts lists and other needed information. With the click of a mouse the owner can assign or reschedule tasks. When the work has been completed, the owner or dealer-contractor can log the date of completion, uploads the work notes and invoice, photos or videos, and the VesselVanguard algorithm automatically recalibrates the Boat Profile to the next maintenance interval—whether based on hours of use, calendar days or both. A continuum of knowledge is created between all parties in the seasonal and long-term lifecycle of the boat, increasing time on the water. As a vessel’s equipment expands, so does its VesselVanguard boat profile. The VesselVanguard Smart Calendar gives owners, captains and their service contractors at-a-glance views of all required future maintenance by equipment group for any length of time. With detailed information easily available, both Palm Beach owners and dealers can be proactive in resource planning and preservation of warranties. As a vessel’s equipment expands, so does its VesselVanguard boat profile
