Star Brite Acquires Snappy Marine

Star brite, a subsidiary of Ocean Bio-Chem, Inc, has announced the acquisition of Snappy Marine, Inc., a distributor of teak care products for the marine industry.  

Strong consumer confidence continues to drive sales of recreational boats, which in turn is resulting in an increase in demand for boat care products, including the consistently strong teak care segment. By acquiring Snappy, a well-recognized brand with an established U.S. and International following, Star brite immediately expanded its product offerings and market share.

Star brite will be able to efficiently expand the Snappy product line while also positioning it for entry into homecare markets.  

Founded in 1998, Snappy enjoys strong retailer and consumer demand. The products have been produced by Star brite since 2016 in the Company’s 377,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Montgomery, Ala.
