Announcing the Simrad P3007 and P2005 GPS series – superior color displays offering intuitive touch control, high-accuracy position data and unmatched reliability.

Available in a choice of 5- or 7-inch displays, the easy to operate systems enable distribution of position, course, speed, time and navigation data to other bridge systems such as radar, ECDIS and autopilot.

An all-in-one solution designed to replace the MX612, MX610, and GN70, the P3007 GPS is IMO approved for SOLAS vessels. When paired with high-precision antennas, the system can be configured for use as a DGPS, Transmitting Heading Device (THD), and supports 12 NMEA 0183 serial ports with an optional junction box.

The Simrad P2005, designed for workboats, the light professional segment, and other non-SOLAS vessels, can also be paired with a wide range of Simrad GPS antennas or compasses, and supports an optional junction box for serial port expansion.

Both the P3007 and P2005 systems work with a direct antenna connection and each display size includes value features such as: routes and waypoints, trip log, position and heading, auxiliary AIS plot, configurable digital data pages, GPS and GLONASS, and an optional external potentiometer backlight dimming feature.

The Simrad P3007 and P2005 will be available from authorized global dealers in July.
