A.S.A.P. Scores Two Industry Awards
Peter Edwards, director and cofounder of A.S.A.P. Supplies was presented the “MTA Boating Business Lifetime Achievement award” at the Boating Business / Marine Trades Association awards ceremony held at Gaucho in the O2 during the recent London Boat Show.
Founded in 1989 by Peter Edwards and Mark Reynolds, A.S.A.P. Supplies Ltd. is a mail order distribution company delivering marine equipment and spares worldwide for leisure and commercial marine industries, with more than 12,500 stock lines. ASAP Supplies offer free technical support to customers for maintenance, repair or overhaul projects.
“I truly love working in this great industry and have had the opportunity to deal with all marine sectors, as a supplier and have also been involved in various working committees at national level over the years” said Peter Edwards. “The recognition of any industry award is always something to be treasured, but it was a real surprise to get the prestigious MTA Boating Business ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ - I honestly did not have any idea that it was coming my way. It was a shock and I was truly struggling to think of what to say.”
A.S.A.P. was also recognized for another award during the London Boat Show 2015. For the second time in four years, A.S.A.P. was presented the “Sales Growth Achievement 2014” award from Parker Racor.
Racor was one of the first brands A.S.A.P. started out with in 1989, and over the years they have grown their relationship. A.S.A.P. and Parker Racor have worked together more closely over the past couple of years, partnering at exhibitions such as London Boat Show and Seawork International. “We are very proud to win this fantastic award again, it means so much to the team and proves that all the hard work does pay off. Having a direct and solid relationship with your manufacturer, allows you to work closely and provide exactly what the customer wants and needs,” said MD Shaun Wigley.
