1200 Ft of SF Marina Concrete floating breakwaters installed.

The Provincetown Marina in Provincetown, Mass. recently completed the second phase of the new marina, which incorporates the massive SF Marina Systems Type 600 floating breakwater. The 20 ft wide floating breakwater is over 650' long has a 6 ft. draft at its deepest. The system is moored on 30 and 36 inch steel piles and has a freeboard of 25”. In total SF Marina delivered over 2,000’ of 14, 16 and 20’ wide docks and floating breakwaters. IPE Decked wooden fingers (Mecco Sullivan) have matching SS bollards with lengths from 40 to 80 ft. The fingers were attached with a SS track system.

At the direction of the marinas Owners Chuck and Ann Lagasse, a very high level of finish and amenities have been provided creating a unmatched marina experience. Unique features include gray color matched piles (Boston Bridge and Steel), and electrical pedestals (Marina Electrical Equipment) which complements the concrete floating docks, and the 3, 5 and 10 ton SS bollards put a shine to the Marina. A new product (from Keco pumps) is the hidden in-slip pump out valves. The custom deck plates with the marina logos embossed on them, leaving the dock with a uncluttered appearance. This high-end marina provides berthing and services for permanent, and transient vessels from the modest size cruiser to the super yacht.
