VesselWatch

Net-Logic announced the expansion of the VesselWatch functions with the addition of three new applications.

Monaco Yacht Show last month saw a strong reception for Net-Logic’s new VesselWatch multifunctional safety and communication solution, that was launched via Icon Connect's stand. Over the four days at MYS, VesselWatch was demonstrated to captains and distributors from all over the world.

VesselWatch reduces the number of devices crew members have to carry, whilst dramatically increasing the features available to that crew member with unparalleled security.

Following feedback from clients at Monaco Yacht Show, the system now boasts three further applications:

Passarelle Module: This allows the crew to operate the Passarelle or side boarding ladders from the radio and deploy it, bring it in or raise it.

Panic System: This is a security feature that can be customized for the yacht, an example of this being:

The crew member triggers the panic mode on the radio by depressing a pre-programmed button.  This in turn can then set off an alarm, send silent texts, alert a specific member of security, send a signal ashore, turn on all the lights, or lock all the doors instantly.

Vsat or Internet Alarm: This sends a message to the engineer’s radio telling them there is a problem with incoming data for internet usage. This allows the engineer to intervene and rectify the issue at the earliest opportunity.

VesselWatch is a multifunctional communication, control and safety solution, using a wireless link system to interact with third party devices such as Alarm and Alerts. The initial offering from VesselWatch has three key features already built in; two alarms and a guest services feature, sometimes known as a Steward Call System.

The technology VesselWatch is founded upon, is the same technology as from Net-Logic’ wireless BNWAS.
