YachtSpot’s latest models are a game changer for the marine industry as they use the latest single 4G module which works globally.  For yachts moving between the US/Caribbean and Europe this means an end to the complexity of using different devices to resolve connectivity and potential compliance issues.

Connections to the Internet can be shared between all of the boats on-board laptops, desktops, servers, PDA’s, VOIP phones, mobiles, and any other device that can use an Internet connection using just this single device.

Until recently manufacturers only offered “region specific” 4G products which often reverted to 3G or 2G when used outside those regions. This meant manufacturers and integrators had to produce different products for users operating in different regions.

Launched at METS in November 2016, Inventicamarine are pleased to announce that their latest YachtSpot PRO G3 and YachtSpot 4G+ WiFi G3 models are now FCC approved and available for US flagged vessels.

The G3 range comprises 2 models:
  • The YachtSpot 4G+WiFi G3 is a reliable mobile Internet solution for use worldwide in the marina or near shore, with options providing coverage of 4G and 3G frequencies and WiFi connectivity in one feature rich device.
  • The YachtSpot PRO G3 model goes one step further allowing the integration of V-SAT, Fleet Broadband and fixed line links, enabling end users to easily switch between different Internet connection technologies.
