Endeavour Quay, the boatyard located on Gosport waterfront overlooking Portsmouth Harbor, is offering marine businesses the opportunity to operate on the site. From this month, the boatyard has additional office, storage and workshop space available for marine businesses to occupy.

Formerly the Camper and Nicholsons boatbuilding facility, this yard still regularly plays host to big names in the world of yacht racing including Alex Thomson and Mike Golding, as well as the Clipper fleet and yachts such as the classic J class. Endeavour Quay also has a strong commercial client base including naval, workboat, and safety vessels; and with more than five marinas and circa 5000 leisure craft in Portsmouth Harbour, it also welcomes a large number of privately owned sail and power boats throughout the year.

The marine trade center hopes to attract new tenants to further enhance the service offer to boat owners in the region. Already home to many marine businesses including a chandlery, rigger, sail maker, engineer, surveyor and specialist painter, the boatyard provides the perfect base for new and existing businesses to operate.

Endeavour Quay plays a role in Gosport’s marine services hub; the town is a marine leisure center with numerous marinas and boatyards located in a commercial harbour. There are excellent transport links with Portsmouth Harbour, the train station and ferry terminal are only a short ferry ride away with direct trains to London Waterloo, Gatwick Airport, and the Isle of Wight. Gosport also has major road links and Southampton Airport is less than an hour away.

A member of the British Marine Federation’s Superyacht U.K., Endeavour Quay has an affiliation with the U.K. superyacht industry.  The large undercover boat sheds, 180-ton travel hoist, 24-hour deep water access and no air draft restriction mean the yard is the ideal spot for bigger yachts based and visiting the region; vessels in excess of 24 meters often reside on-site for refits and repairs.

With spaces suitable for storage, offices and workshops, all units are fully serviced with power, water, data communication links and lighting.
