Eberspächer UK to Launch EasyTouch Thermostat

The latest marine heating and demisting expertise from Eberspächer UK Ltd will be on display at the 2015 London Boat Show, January 9-18 in Excel London, where the company will launch EasyTouch, a new multifunction touchscreen cabin thermostat for its range of Hydronic water heaters.

 

With its large display, the unit is easy to operate, its manufacturer asserts, featuring functions that can be controlled at the touch of a button. The multifunction touchscreen cabin thermostat is suited for controlling matrix blower heating units (heat coils) within each individual cabin or area.

 

EasyTouch possesses the ability to automatically modulate the matrix fan speed as the cabin temperature increases. Once the cabin reaches the desired temperature, the thermostat will shut down the matrix and wait for the temperature to drop by 1°C before restarting. The matrix fan speed control can be switched between automatic and manual at the press of a button. This is combined with a night mode that can run the fan on its lowest speed to keep quiet warmth.

 

Other design features include 12V or 24V DC operation; a temperature display choice of Centigrade or Fahrenheit; settings for the display of ambient temperature and set point temperature; a clear LCD screen; low power consumption; and an 8 Amp switching capability.
