Dometic Group Acquires Livos Technologies

Leisure products supplier for the RV, Marine and CPV (Commercial and Passenger Vehicle) markets, Dometic Group, has acquired Livos Technologies Inc., a provider of engine room ventilation equipment and systems for the commercial and pleasure boat markets.

“Livos Technologies is an innovative provider of engine room ventilation, and we are delighted to be able to bring it under our umbrella,” said Frank Marciano, President, Dometic Americas. “This acquisition reinforces Dometic’s status as a leading global provider of marine HVAC systems, sanitation systems, electronics and galley equipment. It is an exciting marriage of complementary companies that will result in an expanded presence in the commercial, military, pleasure boat and super yacht markets.”
 
Michael Murray, President of Livos Technologies, added: “I am looking forward to utilizing Dometic Group´s vast resources to assist me in growing these product lines.  I have met most of their sales engineers and technical people and I am excited about the prospect of showing our customers what we can do together!”

Murray will report to Ned Trigg, Senior VP of Global System Sales, who said, “We have been working with Mike for about 6 months now, so we are already familiar with their applications.  I am so excited to have Mike on board and to have this product line available to our customers.”

Dometic will offer its customers the following new marine ventilation products: commercial grade fans and blowers, smoke and fire dampers, mist-eliminating grilles, pressure and temperature monitoring fan controls.
