Dockmate Launches DockControl Software Solution

Dockmate U.S., which offers advanced handheld wireless remote controls for boats, has announced DockControl software for the ultimate in remote control customizability. Dockmate when combined with the DockControl software solution offers customers an off-the-shelf remote control solution that can be tailored to the real-world capabilities of their vessel and their own boating style.DockControl gives the installer the ability to program the remote control by choosing any combination of engine(s) and thruster(s) activation(s).

Rolls-Royce to Display MTU Series 2000 Engines in Miami

Rolls-Royce will showcase the complete MTU Series 2000 yacht engine family at the Miami Yacht Show, Feb. 15 – 19, 2018. Located in [BG 300 Ramp 3], MTU’s booth will highlight the full range of Series 2000 M96L EPA T3R engine configurations – the 10V, 12V and 16V – as well as the updated Joystick Control System, which now features Heading Hold capability. Rolls-Royce Showcases New Yacht Engine at FLIBS

Rolls-Royce will be marketing the 10-cylinder version of its advanced MTU Series 2000 M96L yacht engine at the 2016 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show from Nov. 3 to 7 . A 12-cylinder version of the engine will be showcased at MTU’s booth (engine tent 1212/1215). Also on display will be MTU’s Blue Vision New Generation ship automation with integrated Joystick System, which will allow visitors to steer a virtual yacht in a simulation. The MTU brand is part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems.

Twin Disc Dubuts Technologies at FLIBS

Twin Disc will introduce three new products at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, November 3–7. Twin Disc's  e-Steer Electronic Steering System provides a bold, new approach to marine steering. Avoiding the pitfalls of traditional hydraulic setups, the electronic helm is connected to the hydraulic-powered rudder(s) via wires, reducing leaks and loss of steerage. The e-Steer system features Speed Sensing technology. This provides helmsmen adaptive resistance, so the helm is firmer when at full throttle and lighter when maneuvering slowly.

Rolls-Royce said it will showcase several innovations designed for the pleasure craft market at the 2015 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show, February 12-16. The MTU exhibit will feature Premium Yacht Service, a global, 24/7 support offering provided under the MTU ValueCare brand, the recently unveiled MTU Series 2000 M96 pleasure craft engine and the company’s newly available Joystick System. MTU will be located at Ramp 15, Slip 404 along Collins Ave in Miami Beach. New MTU Series 2000 Yacht Engine

Rolls-Royce will debut its new generation MTU Series 2000 M96 yacht engine at the 2014 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oct. 30 – Nov. 3. The EPA Tier 3-compliant engine will be on display in the MTU booth (#1212) and presented for the first time in North America aboard the new Viking 92 Enclosed Bridge Convertible, the largest resin-infused sportfishing convertible hull in the world. The new MTU 16V 2000 M96L will be showcased in the new vessel during a press conference on Friday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. EST at the Viking Yacht Company’s D-Dock display.
