NAUTIS Desktop Simulators installed at Aigua Sea School
The Aigua Sea School in Mallorca purchased multiple NAUTIS Desktop Trainers to provide advanced simulator training for its students. The NAUTIS Desktop Trainers were delivered and installed by VSTEP at the Aigua headquarters in Palma. Cobham in Volvo Ocean Race Satcom Partnership
Cobham has strengthened its commitment to the Volvo Ocean Race after signing up to become the Satellite & Radio Communications Equipment Partner and the Broadcast Equipment Partner for Volvo Ocean Race 2014-15, which starts in Alicante in October 2014. As part of the new deal, Cobham SATCOM will supply the satellite communications hardware for the new one-design Volvo Ocean 65s, including new generation SAILOR 500 and 250 FleetBroadband systems, as well as a large selection of radio and safety systems for use by the teams and race organisers, including new SAILOR AIS and Navtex solutions.
Sails Grace the 25th Anniversary SCIBS
The majesty and grace of sailing will feature at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) Thursday, May 23-Sunday, May 26, with national launches of prestige vessels and a vast spectrum of sailing product on display. Joining 114 vessels on water, will be the Bavaria Vision 42 in an Australia-wide release. The 12.5-meter luxury yacht sleeps four and features an abundance of space normally expected from larger yachts. This cruising yacht has been designed with the solo sailor in mind.
