Grönborg Takes the Helm at OXE Marine

Magnus Grönborg has assumed the CEO position for diesel outboard manufacturer OXE Marine AB.Grönborg succeeds Myron Mahendra who will assume the position of EVP Business Development, Sales and Marketing.Appointing Grönborg is part of the previously communicated move into the next phase of OXE Marine´s development, with third party production facilities in both Poland and the U.S., where the board of directors has resolved to reorganize the management team to optimize the company’s ability to achieve its financial and operational targets, OXE Marine said.

OXE Marine Announces Leadership Change

OXE Marine's board of directors has appointed board member Magnus Grönborg as CEO as part of a management team reorganization that includes current CEO Myron Mahendra shifting to EVP Business Development, Sales and Marketing. In addition, the chairman of the board Anders Berg will assume an operational role with the management team. IMCI Certifies Two Parker Vessels

The International Marine Certification Institute today announced the certification of the PARKER 750 DC and PARKER CC models of leisure boats from Parker POLAND Sp. z o.o. Remontowa to Build Ferries for BC Ferries

Polish shipyard Remontowa Shipbuilding SA has signed a contract for building three car-and-passenger ferries for the Canadian ship owner - BC Ferries Company, said Xinhua. The Remontowa Shipbuilding shipyard in the Polish seaside city of Gdansk has laid down the keel of the first ferry. The first ferry is to be finished in the third term of 2016. Two of the ferries to be built in Poland will replace the old ones, while the third one will make a seasonal supplement to the regular units. The ferries will be 105 meters long and able to take 145 cars and 600 passengers onboard.

Clearwater Sailing Event Serves as Warm Up for World Championship

140 skiff sailors from 19 different countries and 5 continents will descend on Clearwater Beach's Pier 60 for the Clearwater North American Sailing Event on Thursday February 5th, which will serve as a warm up for the Clearwater 2016 World Championship beginning on the following Saturday. Participating classes include 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17. Looking to continue their climb up the 49er rankings will be recent ISAF Sailing World Cup Final Champions Tomasz Januszevski and Jacob Nowak from Poland.
