Seakeeper Sales Continue Growth

Gyro stabilization system manufacturer Seakeeper reported a 33% sales increase for 2013, contributing to its 53% average annual growth for each of the past three years. The company projects more than 40% growth for 2014 and is completing an 18,000 sq. ft. expansion of its engineering and manufacturing campus in Pennsylvania to meet anticipated demand. Most of Seakeeper's 2013 increase came from the recreational segment, where refit projects skyrocketed worldwide and more yacht builders specified the gyro as standard or optional equipment.

Raymarine Hurricane Sandy Refit Program

In October 2012 boaters all along the eastern seaboard and particularly in the Mid-Atlantic States sustained extensive damage to boats, homes and property due to Hurricane Sandy. Raymarine is offering relief to boaters affected by the hurricane to help get them back out on the water. Through June 30, 2013, Raymarine is offering boaters in the federally designated Hurricane Sandy disaster and emergency areas an extra incentive when replacing their storm damaged systems with brand-new Raymarine electronics.
