Avon (Zodiac Nautic Group) & Torqeedo launch the eJET 450, a 100% electric tenderAvon (Zodiac Nautic Group) together with Torqeedo has developed the eJET 450, a 100% electric tender that is designed to solve the problem and hassle for yacht owners of carrying fuel for tenders and changing oil.The electric tenders are equipped with a 55 kW Deep Blue electric motor from Torqeedo and the latest generation of automotive battery (30.5 kWh used in the BMW i3). ISA Yachts announced the sale of a new 50-meter superyacht project to a repeat client, the third superyacht sold by the shipyard in the last two months. Featuring a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, this new 50 meter (164 ft) superyacht is going to be the 12th superyacht to be built by the shipyard on the well proven ISA 47-50 meter platform of 499 Gross Tons. Harmoniously combining elegance and sportiness, it will incorporate some of the classic ISA features including the grand arches connecting the aft deck cockpit to the superstructure, the builder said.
