Scholten Joins ABYC as Technical Vice President

The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) announced that Craig Scholten has joined the association as technical vice president. Brining 33 years of boating industry experience to the role, Scholten will oversee the ABYC technical department and be responsible for ABYC’s relationship with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and compliance with Europe’s Recreational Craft Directive (RCD). Scholten will also work with the membership department to help add value to new and existing members from a technical resource perspective.

Golden Boats Earns ISO Certification

Golden Boat Lifts announced that it has received its ISO 9001:2008 certification. This ISO certification is a series of international quality standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for implementation in management and operations within an organization to increase productivity, efficiency and reliability.
