Hatteland Display, Elektronix Merge

Maritime display and computer manufacturer Hatteland Display has announced that it is merging with advanced technology solutions provider Elektronix. Under the terms of this unification, the two subsidiaries of the EMBRON group will now become a single entity, called Hatteland Technology.As a provider of advanced technology solutions within industrial computing, security & surveillance and industrial networking, the Elektronix portfolio is highly complimentary with Hatteland Display’s offering as the global leader in maritime display and computer systems.

Norautron Group AS acquires Hatteland Display AS

Norautron Group has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Hatteland Display from Herkules Capital. Hatteland Display's history dates back to 1989, and the company is now a leading designer and manufacturer of high-end rugged displays, panel computers, and computers for all segments of the professional marine industry. Please tell us how you came to lead Hatteland Display. As so often in life, it was a coincidence that I got introduced to Hatteland Display in 2008 by a former colleague from McKinsey &Company that had contacts in the Board of Hatteland Display. One thing lead to another and in early 2009 I started as CEO and my former colleague as CFO.
