Corvus Energy Supply BMS to New Østensjø Rederi PSV

Corvus Energy supplies Norwegian ship owner Østensjø Rederi with turnkey lithium-ion battery management system (BMS) for newly designed vessel. The Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), designated ST-920, is being developed by Østensjø Rederi together with ship designer Skipsteknisk in Ålesund and building yard Astilleros Gondan in Spain in close collaboration with Siemens as the systems integrator and Corvus Energy as the energy storage system enabler. The new vessel will be used to support rig operations in the North Sea and construction is expected to complete in September 2013.
