Slipstream and Crew Win Yachts de Coeur Humanitarian Prize
Slipstream, a 60-m Burgess motor yacht, and her crew were presented with the annual Yachts de Coeur humanitarian prize in Cannes in June 2018. The award was presented to recognize their efforts to aid the Caribbean islands and people affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in Autumn 2017. Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting, Sea Mercy to Bring Caribbean Relief
Following the double blow dealt by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the International Yachting Community have shown their willingness to mobilize a massive relief effort to distribute essential services and goods to Barbuda and Dominica. The humanitarian organization Sea Mercy has teamed up with the Antigua Charter Yacht Meeting (ACYM) to enact a first response and long term rebuilding plan. A key portal for yacht tourism in the area, the ACYM connects the international superyacht industry with local economies in these beautiful Caribbean cruising grounds.
Royal Caribbean Announces Winter 2015-16 Schedule
Four of the Regions Largest and Most Innovative Cruise Ships to Sail from Port Everglades and Port Canaveral. The cruise line has announced that Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas will sail the Caribbean from convenient Florida homeports for the winter 2015-16 season, which are now open for sale. Sister-ships Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas will offer vacationers still-matched Caribbean cruises in the 2015-16 winter season.
