New Yacht Delivery Service: Delivery Passagemakers
Two experienced USCG licensed Captains based in Rhode Island have teamed up to launch a multi-faceted yacht delivery service. Capt. Bill Madison, with more than 30 years’ experience as a licensed Ocean Master with a 1600-ton (GRT) ticket, and Capt. Mike Martel, with a 100GRT near-coastal license, have partnered to form Delivery Passagemakers, combining their experience, sea-knowledge, and compatible approach to serve boat owners, brokers, and anyone needing a vessel moved from Point “A” to Point “B”.
South Jersey Marina Now Offers ValvTect Marine Fuel
ValvTect Petroleum announce that South Jersey Marina in Cape May, New Jersey has joined the more than 600 ValvTect Certified marinas and fuel docks nationwide offering ValvTect Marine Fuels. “We’ve been providing first class services and accommodations to slip holders and transients for over 20 years. Cape May-Lewes Ferry Celebrates 50th
In 1964, Lyndon B. Johnson was President; the Beatles first appeared on the Billboard Chart with I Want to Hold Your Hand; the World's Fair opened in New York and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry made its grand debut. On July 1, 1964, the very first ferry vessel departed the Lewes, Delaware terminal at 6:47 a.m. The ferry carried eight vehicles and 15 passengers. Since then, more than 43 million passengers and over 14 million vehicles have made the scenic, 17- mile, 85-minute trip across Delaware Bay to and from Victorian Cape May, NJ and historic Lewes, Delaware.
Raymarine Hurricane Sandy Refit Program
In October 2012 boaters all along the eastern seaboard and particularly in the Mid-Atlantic States sustained extensive damage to boats, homes and property due to Hurricane Sandy. Raymarine is offering relief to boaters affected by the hurricane to help get them back out on the water. Through June 30, 2013, Raymarine is offering boaters in the federally designated Hurricane Sandy disaster and emergency areas an extra incentive when replacing their storm damaged systems with brand-new Raymarine electronics.
