DMA Makes Pleasure Boat Rental Easier
Now, it becomes easier for private persons to hire out or share their pleasure boats. The Danish Maritime Authority (DMA) has revised its regulations on pleasure boats so that they are now simpler if you want to hire out or share your pleasure boat with others. This is the case for both private persons and hire services. DMA Releases Flexible Framework for Yachtsmen's Tests
The Danish Maritime Authority has enabled yachting organizations to be approved for holding tests and issuing certificates, just as they can authorize external examiners for yachtsmen's tests. On the basis of a new executive order, it becomes easier to establish a dialogue between the clubs, evening schools, course providers and sailing schools that prepare people for tests and the approved course providers who carry out the tests as such. Thorn to Chair Danish Pleasure Craft Safety Board
Jan Thorn will take over the chairmanship of the Danish Pleasure Craft Safety Board on February 1, 2015.
