Los Cabos Billfish Tournament Final Results
Team Reel Gold’s Capt. Javier “Kuubby” Villavicencio struck gold with the only boated marlin in the Los Cabos Billfish Tournamet. The entire six-angler team including Murray Wright, Richard Matson, Mitch Kishimoto, David Patterson, Pat Jackson and Chris Turek flew from its current working residence in Namibia, Africa, during the opening week of the tournament, following Hurricane Odile, to attend the 16th annual event. The owner of Reel Gold Richard Matson has fished the tournament for 10 years and wasn’t going to miss the event.

Following in the footsteps of his famous grandfather, author John Hemingway this year has run with the bulls in Pamplona and will be soon fishing the big game grounds off Bimini—the same tiny Bahamas out island where Papa Hemingway chased marlins and tuna aboard his beloved Pilar in the 1930s. US Coast-to-Coast Yacht Delivery Partnership Formed
United Yacht Transport LLC, a Fort Lauderdale-based yacht transport company, has reached an agreement with PACC Container Lines Pte. Ltd. to provide regular yacht transportation service between Port Everglades, FL and multiple West Coast North American Ports. With this backing, United Yacht Transport will provide regularly scheduled sailings from Port Everglades to Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada and Japan aboard a fleet of thirteen, 27,000 DWT multi-purpose ships. PACC currently operates a semi-monthly express liner service between U.S. Gulf and Atlantic Ports and S.E. Asia.
