Annapolis Yacht Sales Enhances Organizational Structure

In order to keep up with demand generated through rapid infrastructure growth and expansion, Annapolis Yacht Sales (AYS) is excited to introduce a new director-facing model of operations; driven by inside personnel promotions and a reimagined organizational structure. Chris Humphreys, Rob Taishoff and Tim Wilbricht purchased AYS five years ago with the intention of growing the company exponentially, and the new structuring comes as a direct response to the success in meeting that goal. AYS' new Virginia Beach location is the most recent result of this expansion effort.

OceanLED Names Ambrose Account Manager

OceanLED U.S. OceanLED, a manufacturer of LED marine lighting technology, announced that Katelyn Ambrose has joined the U.S. Superyacht Division in the role of Account Manager for projects in the Southeast, Alabama and Gulf Coast. Based in Deerfield Beach, Fla., Ambrose will have core responsibility for strengthening sales as well as supporting existing customers in her regions. In Katelyn’s new role she will work alongside William Banning, U.S. Superyacht Division Manager. A business management graduate, Katelyn joins OceanLED with 10 years of project management and customer service experience in the hospitality industry.

Kadey-Krogen Yachts Expands to Rhode Island

Kadey-Krogen Yachts has expanded and planted roots this month in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Headquartered in Stuart, Florida with additional offices in Annapolis, Maryland and Seattle, Washington, Kadey-Krogen Yachts partner and vice president of sales Tucker West leads the company’s expansion into New England. Senior Appointment at Marina Projects

Marina Projects Ltd, international marina consultancy based in Gosport, U.K., has appointed Sue Macpherson as a Senior Associate and Company Secretary. Macpherson is a Solicitor by profession and has held senior appointments both in private practise and as an In-House Solicitor in a large Marina business. Macpherson brings 30 years of legal, strategic and business management skills, 25 of those acting for Ports Authorities and owners or marina portfolios. Her work in the marine sector has included successfully managing objections at major Public Inquiries and advice in Arbitrations.

Tucker West, longtime marine industry sales and marketing executive, was today named vice president of sales of Kadey-Krogen Yachts. West brings more than 20 years in the marine industry to take on the responsibility of leading the Kadey-Krogen sales force. For the last nine years, West led the North American Sales and Dealers Network for Grand Banks Yachts. In addition to sales, his work at Kadey-Krogen will contribute to product development and sales marketing. E. P. Barrus Ltd announced the appointment of Ben Allen as General Manager for the Marine Leisure Division. Ben will be responsible for the brands of Mariner and Mercury outboard engines and the range of Quicksilver boats. Ben brings experience from sales and business management roles and has been responsible for setting up a successful businesses of his own. Prior to joining Barrus, Ben was employed as the UK Sales and Marketing Manager for Sterling Power Products, a supplier of power management systems to the marine and commercial vehicle markets.
