Fairline Yachts Announces Production Expansion

British luxury boat manufacturer, Fairline Yachts, has announced it is set to expand its manufacturing capabilities by adding a new 17,000 square foot production facility at Oundle Marina - the boatyard’s original location when it was launched 50 years ago. The launch of the Squadron 53 will celebrate the British brand’s return to the Düsseldorf-based show after a five year absence, and follows this year’s hugely successful unveilings of the Squadron 65 Hardtop at Cannes Yachting Festival, and the Targa 53 OPEN at Southampton International Boat Show. British luxury boat manufacturer, Fairline Yachts, releases the first computer generated imagery of its stunning new Squadron 53. The boat, which is the third variant from Fairline Yachts’ popular 53ft range, will be launched at Boot Düsseldorf on January 21, 2017. Renowned superyacht designer, Alberto Mancini, has added his design expertise to this new Squadron. The boat is based on Fairline’s existing 53ft hull but features a new design from the deck upwards courtesy of Mancini, showcasing the future direction of Fairline’s exterior styling.

Marine Products is a leading manufacturer of fiberglass boats under two brand names: sterndrive and inboard pleasure boats by Chaparral, including H2O Sport and Fish & Ski Boats, SSi and SSX Sportboats, Sunesta Sportdecks, Xtreme Towboats, Signature Cruisers and Premiere Sport Yachts, and outboard sport fishing boats by Robalo. For the quarter ended September 30, 2012, they generated net sales of $38,494,000, a 73.0 percent increase compared to $22,254,000 last year.
